What's this all about...

I know I've been a terribly bad blogger lately, there's lots I could tell you but I am either too busy or too lazy or some combination of the two.

However, one thing has motivated me to post a post, however crap it may be.

Am I the only one who is outraged to discover adverts on the BBC News website?

What do we you pay ~~our~~ your license fees for? Honestly!

  Any what? Adverts? Are you sure? On the linked page, for me at least, there's an advert for a watch on the left hand side under the regions and categories.

Well, we have to put up with enough of the b*@#*y things on the TV: endless trailers and plugs for the damn web sites. I am counting the days till they switch off the analogue transmitter and we can throw away our licence.

  Advertising programmes and services (annoying as it may be) is one thing, but I'm referring to adverts for watch manufacturers and insurance companies!
  
  It appears that it's only for non-UK residents, though.

Yup, they've had ads for non-UK users for a couple of months now.

It's a big meh from me on that front.
