In case you hadn't noticed, it's been a bit stormy over the last few days!
I've said before about how exposed our house is, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields, the wind just howls round it.
We have a routine with the cats. They spend the afternoons and evenings in the house but they go out at night, we normally chuck em out when we go to bed. They sleep in our little barn type thing out the back, and much as I'm sure they'd rather stay in, they're used to it.
We made an exception when we had that snow in January, it was so cold I couldn't bring myself to leave them out overnight. I persuaded Landers, they stayed in, I felt better about it.
Last night, the wind a rain was so awful, Landers suggested letting them stay in overnight. That's how bad it was.
Now, before, when they stayed in overnight, we had time to let them out for a while first to make sure they went to the toilet. Last night, it was too late when we decided to keep them in, so we just had to hope they wouldn't need the loo.
Oh dear.
Luckily, our cats are very considerate.
One went in the shower cubicle, and one went in the sink! A little bit gross when you first think about it, but hey, it was easy to clean up! Shame they couldn't have gone the extra mile and just used the toilet...

I had a cat that used to use the toilet, had us in fits when we first caught him doing it

It was so funny watching this cat with all four paws clinging on to the toilet seat for dear life actually going in the toilet, worked fantastic until he lost a leg and could no longer balance properly
